Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Defense said that UAE air defenses dealt with missile and drone attacks coming from Iran.
Second alert within hours
The Ministry of Defense confirmed on its VX account a short while ago that the sounds heard in various areas of the Emirates are the result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles and fighters intercepting drones and mobile aircraft.
This is the second alert of its kind in the UAE, on Wednesday, after a similar alert was issued at approximately two in the morning.
Successful air interceptions
At the same time, the Dubai Government Media Office issued a statement saying that the competent authorities in Dubai confirm that the sounds heard in some areas of the emirate are the result of successful air traffic protests.
He also stressed the importance of obtaining information from reliable official sources.
