Enhancing the efficiency of administrative processes
The opening of the headquarters in Dubai represents the culmination of nearly six years of discussions and consultations between member associations.
It also represents an important step towards enhancing the efficiency of administrative and financial operations and increasing ease of access to the Union’s services across Asia.
While maintaining the existing legal and regulatory structure of the Union.
The decision came after a series of meetings held by the Executive Committee of the Asian Rugby Federation with the leadership of the International Rugby Federation on the sidelines of the Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens Championship.
It was agreed to move forward with preparing a joint strategic plan with the support of an independent international advisor appointed in coordination between the two sides.
