Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Integrated Transport Center, affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced that the “Anbal No.” electronic charitable auction for distinctive vehicle plates succeeded in collecting 119.4 million dirhams in Abu Dhabi, in support of both the “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans” campaign and the “Limit Life” campaign.
The auction was organized in cooperation with Emirates Auctions.
The auction featured 555 distinctive paintings, including paintings of private vehicles, motorcycles, and classic vehicles.
Among them are 11 Class 21 panels, 23 Class 2 panels, and 50 Class 1 panels.
Positive interaction with humanitarian initiatives
The auction was widely attended by various economic sectors, charitable organizations and public benefit organizations.
Along with those with white hands, in an indicator that reflects positive interaction with humanitarian initiatives and confirms the consolidation of the culture of giving in Emirati society.
The “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans” campaign, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority – Abu Dhabi Endowments, comes under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates.
With the aim of providing a sustainable source of funding for orphan care and ensuring a more stable future for them.
Life limit support
Part of the auction proceeds will go to support the “Limit Life” campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
This aims to raise at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating hunger around the world.
Which contributes to saving 5 million children from starvation.
