Abu Dhabi, UAE – A tragic incident occurred today in the Al Bahia area when a missile struck a civilian vehicle. One person was killed instantly, and others sustained injuries of varying severity. The incident also caused panic among local residents.

Local authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling on a main road when it was directly hit by the missile, resulting in a partial explosion. As a result, passersby were forced to flee the scene for their safety.

Security sources confirmed that emergency and civil defense teams rushed to the scene to provide first aid and transport the injured to nearby hospitals. Simultaneously, investigation teams began searching for the source of the missile and the circumstances of its impact. The aim is to determine whether the incident was accidental or a deliberate act.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office urged citizens and residents to exercise extreme caution and avoid open areas and main roads until the investigations are complete. The office also affirmed that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of civilians and protect vital infrastructure.

The news has reignited the debate surrounding security risks in civilian areas, amid growing concerns that the recurrence of such incidents could lead to a larger crisis that threatens public safety and imposes further restrictions on the daily movement of residents.
