Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, affirmed that the UAE is safe and capable of protecting its people and all those residing within its borders. He also emphasized that the nation will emerge from this period stronger and more resilient.
His Highness made these remarks during a hospital visit to five of those injured in the recent events. He explained that they were all civilians of various nationalities, including two Emirati citizens. Others were from India, Sudan, and Iran. He affirmed that the state is responsible for their well-being and that, God willing, they will recover and return home safely.
His Highness praised the role of the armed forces, commending their vital national service. He also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Interior, security agencies, civil defense, and all other relevant authorities, acknowledging their efforts in protecting the nation and safeguarding the security of society.
His Highness also praised the stances of citizens and residents, emphasizing that they represent a unified fabric within the nation. Their demonstrated cohesion and loyalty are a source of pride and honor, reflecting the strength of Emirati society in facing challenges.
His Highness the President of the State delivered a firm message to all those who target the UAE, stating that the country is strong and not an easy target. It will continue to fulfill its duty to protect the nation, its citizens, and all who reside on its land with dignity and security.
His Highness concluded by affirming that the UAE will remain steadfast in fulfilling its national duty. It will also emerge from these circumstances more united and stronger than before.
