Abu Dhabi, UAE – Etihad Airways announced the resumption of a limited schedule of commercial flights starting March 6, 2026.
It will operate flights between Abu Dhabi and a number of major destinations.
The carrier said in a press release that passengers who have previous reservations on these flights will be accommodated as soon as possible.
Tickets are also available for sale on its website.
The carrier called on passengers and members of the public not to go to the airport unless they are contacted directly by Etihad Airways or if they have a confirmed reservation on one of these new flights.
This decision came in coordination with the relevant authorities, after conducting comprehensive safety and security assessments.
Etihad Airways continues to closely monitor the situation, and no flights will be operated until all safety standards are met.
According to the carrier, flights to and from Abu Dhabi are scheduled to operate from March 6 to 19 to Ahmedabad, Bangkok, Bangalore, Cairo, Colombo, Delhi, Frankfurt, Hanoi, Hyderabad, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London (Heathrow), Madrid, Mali, Milan (Malpensa), Moscow (Sheremetyevo), Mumbai, New York (John F. Kennedy), Paris, Phuket, Riyadh, Rome, Seoul (Incheon), Toronto, and Zurich.
All flights are subject to operational approvals and may undergo modifications depending on regional airspace conditions.
All other scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi are currently suspended.
Affected passengers will receive direct communication from Etihad Airways to confirm the status of their flights and inform them of the available options.
The carrier advised all passengers to check that their reservations contact information is up to date, and to follow their email to see the latest developments.
