Washington, DC – The US State Department, in an official statement today, refuted reports circulating about significant casualties resulting from the recent attack in the United Arab Emirates.
The department confirmed that it has initiated urgent logistical measures to ensure the safety and protection of its citizens in the region.
A categorical denial of the allegations
A State Department spokesperson stated that reports claiming 100 American military personnel or civilians were killed in Dubai are “completely false.”
The official confirmed that the attack on the U.S. consulate in the city resulted in no casualties.
He also described claims regarding the extent of the losses as misleading and inaccurate.
The statement also condemned Iranian attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities and those of other countries,
calling them “illegal and reprehensible acts.”
Washington urged media outlets to verify information with official U.S. government sources
before publishing news that could distort the reality on the ground.
Citizen protection measures
On the ground, the State Department announced that it has begun contacting American citizens residing in the UAE who have requested assistance.
It confirmed that it is coordinating chartered flights to facilitate their departure and ensure their safety.
These steps reflect the state of heightened American readiness to secure the diplomatic
and civilian front in light of the rapidly escalating military situation in the region.
The State Department also confirmed that there have been no casualties among American facilities to date.
