Abu Dhabi, UAE – International: UAE Foreign Minister Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with his Italian counterpart, Luigi Di Maio, to discuss the latest regional developments and international issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields, particularly political, economic, and security sectors, and affirmed their commitment to continuing the strategic dialogue to enhance stability in the region. The ministers also discussed security cooperation, counterterrorism efforts, and joint coordination to address regional challenges, contributing to regional peace and security.
The joint statement affirmed that the UAE and Italy will continue their efforts to strengthen their strategic partnership, focusing on economic and investment initiatives and enhancing diplomatic and cultural ties, within a shared vision for achieving sustainable development and stability in the region.
