Abu Dhabi, UAE – The third group competitions in the Mansour bin Zayed Football Cup “2026” resulted, on Tuesday evening, in the qualification of the Emirates National Schools and Support Services Sector teams to the quarter-finals.
The tournament is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Office.
It is organized by the Sports Committee of the Presidential Office in cooperation with the Emirates Football Association and the Emirates Professional Association, at the Mandarin Oriental Emirates Palace Hotel Stadium.
A goalless draw dominated the first match between the Emirates National Schools and Support Services Sector teams at the end of the group competitions.
With this result, each team raised its score to 5 points.
Together they secured passage to the next round, but with the Emirates National Schools team leading on goal difference.
The second match in the same group witnessed the victory of the Community Coordination Office team over the Finance and Procurement Sector 3-2.
To raise his score to 4 points in third place.
While the balance of the Finance and Procurement Sector team froze at one point.
The competing teams in Group Four are awaiting the results of the decisive third round matches, on Wednesday, in the preliminary round, and the first match brings together the teams of the Office of Citizens and Community Affairs, the Office of Development Affairs and the Families of Martyrs.
While the second meeting will witness a confrontation between the Office of Study Missions and the Archives and the National Library teams.
