Abu Dhabi, UAE – Moroccan Soufiane Rahimi led his team Al Ain to a thrilling 3-2 victory over hosts Khorfakkan in their match on Friday evening, as part of the 18th round of the UAE Pro League.
The match was held at the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, and witnessed great excitement until the last moments.

Rahimi scored Al Ain’s hat-trick in the 21st, 70th and 93rd minutes, while Khorfakkan’s goals were scored by Tariq Tissoudali and Adama Diallo in the 61st and 86th minutes.

An aggressive start and continuous excitement
Al Ain started the match strongly, with Rahimi finding the net early in the 8th minute, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The Moroccan star then made his mark in the 21st minute with a powerful shot that found the back of the net, giving the Boss the lead.
In the 31st minute, Rahimi scored a second goal with a well-placed header, but the flag again denied him the chance to increase the score due to offside.
Khor Fakkan’s response and a mutual uprising
Khorfakkan appeared offensively in the second half, and Tariq Tissoudali almost scored with a rocket shot that hit the crossbar in the 58th minute, before he equalized from a penalty kick in the 61st minute.
But Rahimi continued his brilliance and restored Al Ain’s lead in the 70th minute with a superb technical touch inside the penalty area.
The home side did not give up, with Adama Diallo equalizing from a penalty in the 86th minute, igniting the confrontation in its final minutes.
Killer target
In stoppage time, Soufiane Rahimi snatched the winning goal and his third of the match in the 93rd minute, giving Al Ain three valuable points after a marathon match.
The match remained a back-and-forth affair until the final whistle, which declared a thrilling victory for the leader by three goals to two.
