Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received his brothers, Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates and Members of the Federal Supreme Council, Their Highnesses the Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, and Sheikhs, on Thursday, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The reception was held at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, who is currently visiting the UAE.
During the meeting, the attendees exchanged greetings on the occasion of the Holy Month. They prayed that Ramadan would be a month of goodness, blessings, and mercy for all, and that God would grant continued security and prosperity to the UAE and its people. They also reviewed the nation’s development journey and achievements, as well as the progress made in building the nation’s future and fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
Documenting historical moments
His Highness the President of the UAE viewed a documentary video featuring interviews with several individuals who witnessed the historic moments of the Union’s declaration and the raising of the UAE flag for the first time by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. They expressed their pride and honor in participating in those pivotal national moments.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, and His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi. Also present were Their Highnesses the Rulers and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates, senior officials including sheikhs and ministers, and a number of official guests.
The meeting concluded with the Maghrib prayer and an Iftar banquet hosted by His Highness the President in honor of the attendees, reinforcing the values of unity and national cohesion, and boosting morale during the holy month.
