Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Ittihad Kalba and Al Dhafra ended in a 1-1 draw, in the game that brought them together this evening at Kalba Stadium, as part of the 18th round of the UAE Pro League.
Kalba started the match with early attacking pressure and almost opened the scoring in the 17th minute, were it not for the brilliance of goalkeeper Amjad Al-Sayed, who saved his goal from a certain goal.
In the second half, specifically in the 49th minute, Karim El Berkaoui missed an opportunity to put Al Dhafra ahead after he shot a powerful ball that went over the crossbar.
Goals in crucial minutes
Yasser Al-Balushi succeeded in breaking the deadlock in the 79th minute, after he dribbled past Al-Dhafra’s defense and shot a ball into the net, announcing Kalba’s lead.
But Al Dhafra responded quickly, as Marcelo Filho equalized in the 82nd minute with a well-placed header, taking advantage of a superb cross.

The two sides continued to exchange attacks until the final whistle, with each team settling for a single point.
With this result, Kalba raised their points tally to 20, placing them eighth in the UAE league standings. Meanwhile, Al Dhafra reached 18 points, securing tenth place.
