Dubai, UAE – The Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Foundation in Dubai paid one million and 400 thousand dirhams to the “You Help 7” initiative.
This donation is enough to secure the release of 16 financially distressed and prosecuted citizens.
The initiative aims to release 185 financially distressed citizens in Dubai who are being prosecuted and are facing financial cases.
This is done by paying off their debts, amounting to 21 million, 94 thousand and 449 dirhams, to reunite them with their families before Eid al-Fitr.
It is noteworthy that the “Good Courts” have settled the cases of those included in the initiative with creditors and individuals.
It succeeded in reducing the size of debts from 38 million, 896 thousand and 630 dirhams to 21 million, 94 thousand and 449 dirhams.
The initiative aims to involve individuals and institutions of society in releasing financially distressed citizens.
The Tarahum Charitable Foundation previously donated two million dirhams, and Alwaleed Real Estate Company donated 500,000 dirhams.
With the donation of one million and 400 thousand dirhams by the Awqaf Foundation and the Palace Funds Management in Dubai, the total donations to the initiative, since its launch, reach three million and 900 thousand dirhams, contributing to the release of 42 citizens included in the initiative.
