Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced its contribution of 5 million dirhams in support of the “Lifetime Limit” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation.
Which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.
With the aim of raising at least one billion dirhams to be invested in implementing sustainable programs and projects that contribute to combating child hunger worldwide.
The “Life Limit” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation is being implemented in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF” and Save the Children.
In addition to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and Action Against Hunger.
For his part, His Excellency Matar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, stressed that the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to launch the “Limit Life” campaign, which aims to save five million children around the world from the danger of malnutrition and hunger, represents an extension of a solid humanitarian approach that has made the UAE a global model for sustainable institutional charitable work.
He pointed out that the Authority’s participation in this campaign stems from its institutional responsibility towards society.
In addition to its keenness to contribute to national initiatives with a global humanitarian dimension.
