Dubai, UAE – The American University of Beirut announced the launch of its academic and executive center in Dubai.
In a move to enhance its regional presence and contributions in the field of executive education, leadership development, and applied research areas throughout the Middle East.
This was done in close coordination with the Dubai International Financial Centre and with the approval of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai.
The Academic and Executive Centre, strategically located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, is an effective platform for executive education, academic collaboration and partnerships based on innovation and graduate engagement.
This center is consistent with regional priorities for the knowledge-based economy.
It reinforces the American University of Beirut’s long-term strategic vision to remain at the forefront of higher education institutions in a rapidly changing global landscape.
The center will serve as a regional base for applied research, consulting projects, and seminars led by faculty members.
As well as dialogue between actors and stakeholders in vital areas such as leadership, strategy, sustainability, digital transformation, and inclusive growth.
The center provides executive education programs and other practical skills refinement and professional development programs without an academic degree.
Designed for senior professionals, government leaders and specialists in various fields.
In addition to the Executive MBA program offered by the American University of Beirut.
It is a program accredited by the Association for the Development of Business Schools.
It is considered one of the top three programs in the Middle East and Africa according to the QS Executive MBA Programs 2025 ranking.
The American University of Beirut appointed Dr. Henry Azzam as director of its academic and executive center in Dubai.
Dr. Azzam joined the American University of Beirut in 2014 and served as Director of the Master’s Program in Finance for ten years.
