Ajman, UAE – Ajyal Program launched the “Joud” community initiative.
Which opens the way for the people of the Emirate of Ajman, aged 11-24, to design and implement community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan.
Reflecting a spirit of responsibility and giving, it contributes to creating a tangible positive impact within the emirate.
The initiative stems from the program’s belief that youth are the main driver of community work. The month of Ramadan represents an opportunity to translate values into practical practices that enhance social cohesion, support the goals of Ajman Vision 2030, and consolidate the culture of initiative and community work.
Areas of participation include charitable, voluntary, social, sports, cultural and heritage initiatives.
In addition to a special track for «Family Year» initiatives, allowing participants to choose the field that matches their interests and abilities to serve their community.
Initiatives are evaluated according to several criteria, including community impact, innovation, leadership and responsibility, quality of documentation, and sustainability.
Taking into account age differences between participating groups.
The initiative includes incentive cash prizes and is implemented during the month of Ramadan.
To be registered before the 15th of Ramadan, while the winners will be announced on Zayed Humanitarian Day.
The Ajyal Program called on the youth of the Emirate of Ajman to participate actively and transform their ideas into realistic initiatives that contribute to serving the community and promoting the culture of generosity and humanitarian work.
