Fujairah, UAE – The Emirates Karate Federation announced the details of the 2026 World Youth Karate League Championship.
Which is hosted by the Emirate of Fujairah at the Zayed Sports Complex during the period from 12 to 15 February.
With a wide international participation of nearly 3,000 participants, including players, coaches, referees, and official delegations.
This came during a press conference held in Fujairah City for Creativity, which witnessed the display of new record numbers reflecting the global turnout for the tournament.
The number of participating players reached 2,338 male and female players representing 93 countries, in addition to 436 referees in the tournament accompanying the event, and 159 international referees to manage the competitions.
Along with the participation of 505 certified trainers, this clearly confirms Fujairah’s growing position as a global destination for combat sports.
Rashid Abdul Majeed Al Ali, First Vice President of the Emirates Karate Federation, Vice President of the Asian Federation, Member of the Executive Office of the International Federation, and Vice President of the Supreme Organizing Committee, confirmed that the tournament enjoys great media and community momentum.
He pointed out that the interest witnessed in the Fujairah edition reflects the emirate’s position and role in supporting combat sports and enhancing the presence of karate at the international level.
