Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received today the participants in the first Executive Program for Second-Tier Emirati Leaders,
which was recently held in the People’s Republic of China under the theme “Building Bridges… Empowering Leaders.” The meeting took place at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the program’s objectives and content,
which focus on empowering national talent and equipping them with future-ready skills.
This is achieved through leveraging leading global models and exchanging specialized expertise.
The program also contributes to strengthening the UAE’s vision of building bridges of communication
and cultural cooperation with various countries around the world.

Furthermore, it supports sustainable development and shared prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the importance of
investing in human capital as the cornerstone of comprehensive development.
He also noted that preparing a second generation of qualified national leaders is
a strategic priority for the UAE, especially given the rapid changes the world is witnessing.
There is a need for leaders with vision, the ability to innovate, and the capacity to build effective international partnerships.
His Highness expressed his gratitude to the program organizers, commending their efforts in developing
and designing high-quality initiatives that contribute to honing the skills of national leaders.

He also noted that these initiatives enhance their readiness to lead future sectors
and build bridges of cultural exchange between the UAE and various countries around the world.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their deep gratitude for the wise leadership’s support of national talent.
They affirmed that the program provided them with a valuable opportunity to learn
from the Chinese experience in governance, innovation, sustainable economic development, education, and technology.
Furthermore, the program encompassed artificial intelligence and creative industries,
which strengthens their leadership capabilities and supports their contribution to the national development process.
