Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE continues its pioneering role in promoting human brotherhood.
Through its ongoing initiatives to spread the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among different religions and cultures, and its commitment to supporting global efforts to establish justice and equality among humanity.
The UAE shares the world’s celebration of the International Day of Human Fraternity.
Which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, to commemorate the historic event of signing the “Human Fraternity” document, on February 4, 2019, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.
Since its signing, the “Human Fraternity” document has been the starting point for many Emirati initiatives with a global dimension.
Which enshrines the spirit of tolerance and coexistence among all religions, the most prominent of which is the Ibrahimi Family House project, on Saadiyat Island in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, which includes a church, a mosque, and a church under the roof of one edifice.
Since its inception, the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity has been one of the UAE’s most prominent initiatives aimed at spreading and disseminating the values of tolerance and human coexistence.
The award also carries a special symbolism due to its association with the name of the late founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God bless his soul”.
The award celebrates the great work of individuals and entities from around the world who contribute to promoting noble human values such as peace, coexistence, and integrity.
In addition to extending a helping hand to others, cooperation, and charitable and humanitarian work.
In its seventh session for the year 2026, it honors His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and His Excellency Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, for the historic peace agreement between the two countries.
In addition to Ms. Zarqa Yaftali, the Afghan advocate for women’s education, and the Palestinian Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation.
The UAE hosts the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum annually, which discusses the humanitarian problems and issues facing humanity in today’s world.

In conjunction with the occasion, the UAE annually organizes the World Conference on Tolerance and Human Fraternity, which was held this year under the slogan “Human Fraternity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, in the presence of more than 180 international speakers and more than 400 international, Arab and Emirati religious leaders and thinkers.
