Dubai, UAE – The «Global Hotel Alliance» said that the UAE ranked second as the largest destination in terms of revenues recorded by international visitors who are members of the «GHA Discovery» program, affiliated with «the Alliance», during the year 2025.
The alliance stated in a statement about its performance for 2025 that the UAE market ranked first among the world’s most prominent markets in terms of revenues.
This is thanks to the turnout of visitors from coalition members from the United Kingdom, who recorded revenues amounting to 24.2 million US dollars (about 88.8 million dirhams), Russia with about 15.2 million dollars (55.8 million dirhams), followed by Germany with about 9.5 million dollars (about 34.9 million dirhams).
He pointed out that Thailand ranked first as the largest destination in terms of revenues recorded by international member visitors.
Followed by the UAE in second place, Singapore in third place, and Spain in fourth place.
He pointed out that the UAE continued to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent global hospitality markets.

«Global Hotels Alliance» confirmed that the UAE has occupied an advanced position among the countries that receive the most revenues from international stays within its global network.
International stays accounted for 77% of the total revenues generated by the country’s hotels in 2025.
This reflects its continued attractiveness to travelers from major global markets.
He pointed out that international travel is still the dominant option for the «coalition»’s 34 million members.
He pointed out that the UAE ranked fourth globally in the index of the volume of international stays for members.
The Global Hotel Alliance is the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, comprising 50 brands and 950 hotels in 100 countries.
According to data from the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, hotel revenues increased to approximately AED 44.4 billion during the period from January to November 2025, recording a growth of 8.8% compared to the same period in 2024, driven by an increase in the average daily rate.
The number of hotel guests also increased to approximately 29.1 million, achieving a growth of 5.2%.
Hotel overnight stays rose to more than 99.4 million nights, a 6% growth compared to the same period in 2024.
