Abu Dhabi, UAE – Abu Dhabi Customs signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Maritime Business Network “GSBN”.
This is to enhance digital customs clearance procedures by utilizing eBL electronic bills of lading.
To support the smooth flow of trade movement and enhance the efficiency of supply chains.
The agreement comes within the framework of Abu Dhabi Customs’ ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships and adopt advanced technologies.
This contributes to facilitating cross-border trade, raising levels of transparency and security, and accelerating import and export procedures in accordance with the highest approved standards.
Abu Dhabi Customs will work in cooperation with GSBN to explore ways to benefit from reliable electronic bills of lading data available through the platform.
With the aim of supporting and developing customs clearance procedures through the use of structured digital data, adopting a reliable source of information, and verifying the accuracy and integrity of commercial data.
