Dubai, UAE – Emirates Airlines «said that it will need about 20,000 employees over the next five years.

This is in the sectors of air hospitality, airport services, pilots, and engineers.

She pointed out that the carrier is preparing to receive 17 Airbus A350 «aircraft» during the new fiscal year, and that demand for travel to and from Dubai is recording strong and continuous levels.

The carrier said in an interview with local media in Dubai that it has made significant progress in implementing its largest-ever aircraft cabin modernization program.

The modernization of 83 aircraft «Airbus A380» and «Boeing 777» has been completed so far.

She pointed out that «Premium Economy Class» is currently available on board 105 aircraft within the «Emirates Airlines» fleet.

This reflects the increasing demand from travelers for this class.

In detail, Adel Al Reda, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of «Emirates Airlines», confirmed that the strong demand for travel, coupled with ongoing expansion plans, is pushing «Emirates Airlines» to continue large-scale recruitment operations.

He revealed that the company will need about 20,000 employees in the operations department alone over the next five years.

Al-Rida explained that the employment plans include various operational specializations, such as air hospitality, airport services, pilots, and engineers.

This is in line with the continued growth in the fleet and network.

Al Reda revealed that the company has special programs aimed at attracting more Emirati citizens to fill various positions.

Through specialized programs aimed at training them in the required job sectors.

Al Reda said that «Emirates Airlines» is preparing to receive 17 «Airbus A350» aircraft during the new fiscal year.

This enhances its operational capabilities and supports its expansion into global markets.

He stressed that «Emirates Airlines Group» recorded distinguished performance in the first half of its fiscal year 2025-2026.

He stressed that the demand for travel to and from Dubai is recording strong and continuous levels in all travel classes, driven by the increasing number of travelers to the emirate for tourism and business purposes.

He added that demand through the global Emirates Airlines network is strong.

He pointed out that the tanker continues to operate its flight schedule as usual.
