Dubai, UAE – The World Government Summit Foundation has revealed details of the agenda for its 2026 summit, which will be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5, under the theme “Shaping the Future of Governments.” This comes within the framework of a comprehensive vision that keeps pace with rapid global transformations and seeks to empower governments to address challenges and create opportunities in a rapidly changing world.

The summit, which will bring together more than 6,250 participants, including decision-makers, thought leaders, and experts, aims to formulate joint strategies for developing government work and strengthening international cooperation. This will be achieved through a rich agenda of dialogue and in-depth discussions on global and regional issues, and the role of governments in achieving sustainable development and societal prosperity.

The World Government Summit 2026 will witness its largest leadership participation in its history, with the participation of more than 60 heads of state and government and their deputies, more than 500 ministers, and 150 governments. It will also feature 87 internationally acclaimed scientists and more than 700 CEOs of leading global companies and institutions. In addition, there is a strong presence of more than 80 international and regional organizations.

The summit’s agenda includes over 445 sessions featuring more than 450 global speakers, along with 25 international forums and over 45 ministerial and high-level meetings. These events cover five main themes: governance and leadership, social well-being and human capacity development, economic prosperity, the future of cities, and future prospects.

The summit also publishes 36 strategic reports in collaboration with global knowledge partners. It also gathers ministerial insights on pressing international issues through the third edition of the Global Ministerial Survey, contributing to more effective policymaking and decision-making.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Government Summit, affirmed that the summit has become a leading global platform for anticipating the future and enhancing government preparedness. This embodies the vision of the UAE leadership in strengthening international cooperation and supporting the advancement of humanity.
