Al Ain University consolidates its academic and institutional leadership in 2025

Al Ain, UAE – During 2025, Al Ain University strengthened its path towards excellence and leadership at the academic, institutional and community levels.

It has achieved accomplishments that embody its role as an effective higher education institution that supports the sustainable development process in the UAE.

It also strengthened its presence and status locally and internationally.

The University’s Board of Trustees approved a package of new academic programs and strategic initiatives.

Which represented a qualitative shift in the university’s educational and development journey in 2025.

The total number of Al Ain University graduates since its establishment in 2005 has reached approximately 25,042, belonging to more than 70 different nationalities.

This reflects the university’s pivotal role in attracting students from different countries of the world.

In terms of international rankings, Al Ain University was ranked among the top 500 universities in the world according to the Times World University Rankings 2026.

It is among the top 600 universities in the world according to the QS World Ranking 2026.

It was ranked 25th in the Arab world according to the QS Arab University Rankings 2026, 17th in the Arab world according to the Times Arab University Rankings 2026, and 15th in the Arab world.

In addition to being ranked among the top 100 universities in the world in the Times University Impact Rankings 2025.

The university registered an active presence at the QS Asia Pacific Higher Education Conference 2025 in South Korea.

In addition to distinguished academic participation and the signing of fruitful cooperation agreements during the Arab and Turkish Universities Conference in Tunisia.

Which contributed to expanding the network of international partnerships and exchanging academic and research expertise.

The university organized a number of specialized scientific conferences in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, and medical sciences.

This is within the framework of supporting scientific research and community service.

In addition to launching qualitative student, cultural and sports initiatives that enhanced students’ university experience.

It is worth noting that Al Ain University has contributed since its launch to supporting the university education system in the emirate.

By providing an integrated academic environment and accredited educational programs that meet the needs of the labor market and its role in supporting national priorities.

In addition to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional center for higher education and scientific research.
