Abu Dhabi, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli achieved a resounding victory over their host Dibba with a score of 7-0, in the match that brought them together on Monday evening, as part of the 13th round of the UAE Pro League, at Rashid Stadium.
Matheus Lima opened the scoring for Al-Fursan in the 15th minute, after following up on a rebound from the goalkeeper after a shot by Riquelme Hernandez, Yahya Al-Ghasani headed it down and Lima put it into the net.
Lima almost added a second goal in the 26th minute, but his shot went just wide of the post.
Al Ahli extended their lead with a second goal by Mohamed Juma in the 35th minute, before the referee showed a red card to Dibba player Simon Cabral.
Before the end of the first half, Kon Santos scored the third goal in the 44th minute, with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, ending the half with Al Ahli leading by three goals to nil.
In the second half, Al Fursan continued their pressure, and Saeed Ezzatullah added the fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 51st minute.
Before the kick was taken, the referee showed Diba a second red card, which went to Iago Azevedo, so the team finished the match with nine players.
Substitute Thiago Scarpino scored the fifth goal in the 58th minute, following up successfully inside the area.
Bruno Cascardo Lemos capped off the goal fest with the sixth goal in the 87th minute, before Yuri Cesar added the seventh goal in the 91st minute, confirming the resounding victory for Shabab Al Ahli.
