Perth, Australia – The Emirates men’s and women’s cycling teams made a strong start in the Australian National Championship.
It was launched on Thursday in the Australian city of Perth.
Australian cyclist Jay Fine, who represents the Emirates XRG team, won the men’s (elite) time trial title.
After covering the 39.1 km race track in a time of 46 minutes and 52 seconds, he outperformed all competitors.
On the other hand, Australian cyclist Brody Chapman, a player for the Emirates Women’s Holding Team, came in second place in the time trial race for her category, only a narrow difference of 3.8 seconds from the first-place finisher.
This was in a race that witnessed difficult weather conditions on a 29.3 km track.
