Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates has affirmed that it is following with grave concern the recent developments in Yemen. It expressed its regret over the ongoing escalation and called upon its Yemeni brothers to exercise wisdom and restraint. It also urged them to prioritize the restoration of security and stability in the country.

The UAE, driven by its unwavering commitment to the security, stability, and prosperity of Yemen and the region, stressed the importance of de-escalation. It emphasized the necessity of prioritizing dialogue over confrontation and addressing existing differences among the Yemeni people through understanding and consensus. This requires sustainable political solutions, achieved through a rational and responsible approach that prioritizes the interests of the nation and its citizens, and places reconstruction, stability, and prosperity at the forefront of its considerations.

The UAE affirmed that de-escalation and dialogue are the best way to overcome current challenges. This contributes to consolidating stability in Yemen and the region, and fulfilling the aspirations of its people for security and prosperity.
