Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Ministry of Economy and Tourism, in collaboration with Nissan Motor Company, launched an interactive community branding challenge, accredited by the Guinness Book of World Records.
This is as part of their participation in the activities of «Liwa Festival – Terrifying Hill 2026».
The challenge comes within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry and Nissan in the field of intellectual property rights protection.
It focuses on engaging festival visitors in practical experiences that help them distinguish between original and fake brands.
Participants in the challenge compete to quickly identify the original product according to specific criteria and steps that they can easily apply in reality.
This contributes to promoting conscious and responsible consumer behavior and emphasizes the pivotal role of interactive initiatives in supporting intellectual property protection in the country.
This initiative comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to launch qualitative initiatives with a societal dimension that focus on protecting innovation, creativity and the knowledge economy.
In addition to enhancing integration with partners at the federal and local levels and from the private sector within major national events.
In line with the objectives of “We Are the Emirates Vision 2031”.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry signed a cooperation agreement with Nissan in February 2025.
With the aim of enhancing joint cooperation in the areas of knowledge exchange and supporting initiatives to protect intellectual property rights.
The agreement extends for three years and contributes to creating an environment that supports innovation and creativity, and strengthening the intellectual property rights protection system.
This is done by implementing joint community initiatives and programs that support the dissemination of a culture of intellectual property rights.
