Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Government Media Office celebrated the graduation of the third batch of the “DXB500” program, a unique initiative launched

by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,

Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

This is with the aim of preparing and training communication leaders

in governmental and semi-governmental bodies.

And to raise their readiness to keep pace with the rapid changes in the media landscape,

This will enhance the efficiency of the government’s message

and strengthen Dubai’s media presence both locally and globally.

DXB500 is one of the strategic initiatives implemented by the Dubai Government Media Office

This is part of a comprehensive vision to build an advanced government communication system.

It focuses on developing media leaders and integrating messages between government agencies.

Employing modern communication tools to create impactful content

that tells Dubai’s story and reflects its future directions.

Investing in media talent

Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council

and Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, confirmed

The program embodies the vision of the wise leadership in investing in media talents.

Building a generation of communication leaders capable of making a lasting impact.

She said that “DXB500” represents a strategic investment that will provide communication staff

with modern tools and skills to deliver government messages accurately and clearly.

It also supports public policies, enhances confidence, and reinforces Dubai’s positive image

as a global center for innovation and leadership.

The third edition of the program highlighted government campaigns with a positive impact on society.

With a focus on digital media, creative storytelling, and modern technologies in the messaging industry.

It also included specialized sessions and practical workshops led by experts from local

and international media organizations, which addressed the design of impactful campaigns.

Countering misinformation, short-form content creation, and best practices

in digital government communication.

DXB500 for unifying media messages

For her part, Hind Fikri, Acting Director of Strategic Media Relations,

confirmed that the program represents a fundamental pillar

This is to unify messages, raise media readiness, and enhance integration between government agencies.

Huda Dahkouni, the program director, explained that the course focused

on empowering participants with storytelling skills.

Multi-platform content to launch campaigns that reflect Dubai’s story efficiently and effectively.

The DXB500 graduates expressed their appreciation for the experience,

emphasizing that it was a significant milestone that contributed to developing their professional skills.

And to enhance their ability to craft more impactful messages

and deal professionally with media challenges.
