Ajman, United Arab Emirates – The Ajman Arabian Horse Auction, organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, on Sunday, achieved remarkable success.
It witnessed the sale of all the horses on display, which amounted to 49 horses, in addition to two young horses, with total sales of 6 million and 468 thousand dirhams.
The auction was organized at Ajman Stud in Al Bahia area.
Shabwa achieved the highest price from the stallion “A.J. Radman”, which amounted to 400 thousand dirhams.
The filly “A.J. Sulaf” achieved the highest price for the horses sold, as it was sold for 360 thousand dirhams. It is made up of the stallion “A.J. Nawash” and the mare “A.J. Samara”.
The auction witnessed a wide attendance of owners and breeders of Arabian horses from the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and various parts of the world, and a large number of bidders participated remotely via the Emirates Arabian Horse Association application.
The number of bidding owners in the auction reached 74, 51 of whom were able to complete the purchase process.
The number of owners from outside the country reached 40, 35 of whom were able to complete the purchase process.
While the number of bidders from within the Emirates reached 34 owners, 16 of them succeeded in acquiring the horses they targeted.
As part of facilitating purchasing procedures, the Emirates Arabian Horse Association was keen to provide a service for delivering horse passports to them immediately after completing the purchase process.
In addition to completing the ownership transfer process, the horse passport is then sent to the new owner via an authorized postal service.
