Arish, Egypt – The UAE Floating Hospital in Arish continues to provide medical and humanitarian services to our Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
This is part of Operation “The Gentleman Knight 3”.
With the aim of alleviating the suffering of the wounded and providing specialized health care that contributes to saving lives and providing urgent humanitarian support.
As part of these ongoing humanitarian efforts, the hospital’s medical team performed a delicate surgical operation on a young Palestinian man who was suffering from compound fractures in his right leg and right arm, in addition to complications from previous injuries.
The operation included a deep cleaning of the wound and the installation of a specialized suction device to ensure rapid recovery and prevent any additional complications.
The patient is currently undergoing the necessary medical care.
He receives physical therapy sessions from the specialized staff on board the hospital, as part of an integrated treatment plan that guarantees him the best levels of care.

Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of the UAE Floating Hospital, confirmed that the patient is undergoing careful care, as he is following up on the intensive physical therapy program with the specialized team from the hospital, to ensure rapid recovery and restore his abilities, while providing the necessary psychological and humanitarian support during the recovery phase.
He explained that the role of the UAE floating hospital is not limited to medical care and performing surgical operations.
Rather, it extends to providing psychological and social care to patients and companions.
This ensures an integrated treatment environment that promotes rapid recovery and alleviates patients’ suffering, reflecting the UAE’s continued humanitarian commitment to our Palestinian brothers.
The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish has been providing its services to our Palestinian brothers from the Gaza Strip since its inauguration in February of last year.
He continues to receive various cases, including microsurgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation and physical therapy.
In addition to psychological and social support, within an integrated humanitarian system that embodies the UAE’s established humanitarian approach to standing by those affected and providing them with sustainable health support.
