Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The organizing committee of the Emirates Mixed Martial Arts Warriors Championship Series announced that Al Ain region will host the 65th international edition of the tournament.
This will be on Saturday, November 15, in Al-Khabisi Hall at the National Exhibition Center “ADNEC”.
The tournament will be held for the third time in Al Ain.
After the Emirates Warriors platform extended its partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, to enhance the capital’s position as a global center for mixed martial arts.
The competitions will witness 13 fights with the participation of 26 male and female fighters, among the most prominent players around the world.
The new edition of the tournament includes a strong main fight for women for the strawweight title, bringing together Brazilian Lani Silva and her compatriot Michelle Olveira.
While Brazilian Bruno Machado, the former lightweight champion, will meet Australian Brenten Mumford, in the second main fight.
The list of the most prominent participants in the event includes fighters Yamato Fujita from Japan, Ahmed Fares from Egypt, Jalal Al-Alam from Algeria, and Abdullah Al-Bushahri from Kuwait, who is participating for the 13th time.
The organizing committee will hold a press conference on Thursday, November 13, to announce the details of the tournament, in the presence of Fouad Darwish, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and CEO of Palms Sports Company.
Darwish stressed that the return of the UAE Warriors Championship competitions to the city of Al Ain, which has a distinguished cultural and civilizational heritage, gives it a special character.
He pointed out the organizing committee’s keenness to have the most prominent male and female fighters participate in the 65th edition, which comes in the penultimate scene of the tournament’s agenda for 2025.
