Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The UAE Athletics Federation announced the approval of the participation of 6 players in the Islamic Solidarity Games “Riyadh 2025”, which is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from November 7 to 21.
The union confirmed in a statement that the list includes Emmanuel Pamedelli, Mariam Karim, Suleiman Abdel Rahman, Aminat Qamar El Din, Moaz Fawzy, and Abdel Quddous Ahmed Ali.
Al-Wazna Falah, head of the Public Relations and Corporate Communication Committee at the Federation, said that the team is looking forward to a new achievement, after winning 6 medals in the Third Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, represented by the gold medals in the 100 and 400-meter races for young women, and the gold medal in the relay, in addition to the silver medals in the 200 and 400-meter races, and the bronze medal in the “hammer throw”, and before that, winning 6 medals also in the Arab Championship for male and female juniors in Tunisia.
She explained that the team is taking on the new challenge with the best levels of readiness after gradual stages of preparation with the relevant technical staff.
She praised the efforts of various clubs and institutions in providing appropriate conditions for male and female players to implement various training programs and participate in tournaments.
