Microsoft to invest $8 billion in the UAE by 2029

Microsoft has announced its intention to invest $8 billion in the United Arab Emirates by 2029.

In a move reflecting the tech giant’s confidence in the UAE’s investment environment,

Its efforts to expand its presence in the region are part of a global race

to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities and cloud infrastructure.

Bloomberg reported that the plan includes building new data centers

and expanding cloud computing services.

In addition to increasing the volume of advanced chips and processors available to the UAE,

After the company obtained approval from the US government to ship these chips to the country.

Microsoft strategy

This investment is part of Microsoft’s global strategy to support digital infrastructure.

Developing artificial intelligence platforms in promising markets,

The company aims to make the UAE a major regional hub for

advanced technologies in the Middle East and North Africa.

Company officials confirmed that this investment will create new opportunities

in the areas of innovation, employment, and knowledge transfer.

They pointed out that cooperation with Emirati entities will contribute

to accelerating digital transformation and strengthening the knowledge-based economy.
