Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, Mohamed Ould Aswaidat, Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the accompanying delegation discussed ways to enhance bilateral legal and judicial cooperation.
During the meeting, which was held in the office of His Excellency Al Nuaimi at the Ministry’s Office in Abu Dhabi, issues of common interest related to partnership and international cooperation between the two brotherly countries were reviewed.
On the sidelines of the visit, Al Nuaimi accompanied his Mauritanian counterpart on an inspection tour of Abu Dhabi’s federal courts.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the most prominent digital practices followed within the federal judicial system.
These include remote litigation systems, electronic judicial file management, and smart services provided to clients.
The Mauritanian Minister praised the level of technical and legislative development he witnessed in the federal courts in the UAE.
He stressed the importance of exchanging expertise in this field to support digital transformation in judicial systems.
