Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Archery Federation has approved the participation of 17 archers (male and female) in the second West Asian Archery Championship “Qatar 2025”. The championship will take place from October 28 to November 4.

The federation stated in an official statement today that the delegation is headed by Her Excellency Hanadi Khalifa Al Kabouri, President of the Federation. The delegation includes Hamid Al Shamsi, Vice President of the Federation and Director of the Delegation, and Alia Mahmoud Al Harmozi, the delegation’s administrator. Sheikha Al Khatiri, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and Head of the Referees Committee, is also participating, as is continental referee Omar Al Hammadi, who will officiate the competitions.

The national team roster is as follows:

Recurve bow – Males: Abdullah Obaid Al Ketbi, Seb Sankar Maite, Ali Yaqoub Ranjeri, Mansour Saeed Al Ketbi.

Convex Bow – Females: Samia Odinaeva, Maha Abdulrahim Al Hosani, Aisha Jassim Al Ali, Fatima Mohammed Al Balushi, Hessa Yaqoub Al Awadhi.

Compound Bow – Males: Mohammed Saleh Bin Amro, Yousef Hassan Al Hosani, Nasser Saeed Al Rashdi, Shehab Ahmed Al Saadi.

Compound Bow – Females: Amna Yousef Al-Awadhi, Jumana Ali Al-Najjar, Sarah Adel Al-Mazmi, Maitha Mohammed Al-Nuaimi.

The training duties are handled by Young Chul Lee, assisted by Mi Jin Song and Fernando Nemanza.

The federation hopes the UAE delegation will achieve outstanding results in the championship. It also aims for these results to reflect the level of development that archery has reached regionally and internationally.
