Dubai Ports World opens new logistics zone in Egypt

Cairo, Egypt – Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, inaugurated a new logistics zone affiliated with Dubai Ports World.

In a move that reflects the state’s commitment to strengthening economic infrastructure and developing Egypt’s transportation and port systems.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of ministers and officials.

Government strategy

The project comes as part of the Egyptian government’s strategy to transform the country into a regional center for trade and logistics services.

This will be achieved through modernizing ports and developing logistics areas along the Egyptian coast.

This step aims to raise the efficiency of supply chains and improve the investment environment.

Attracting more international companies to the Egyptian market.

Ambitious plan

In his speech during the opening, Dr. Madbouly stressed that the state is continuing to implement an ambitious plan to connect Egyptian ports to the new road and highway network.

This contributes to reducing the time required to transport goods and lowering operational costs.

Pointing out that the partnership with global companies such as Dubai Ports World reflects international confidence in the Egyptian economy.

Partnership with the Emirates

The new area is part of the Emirati company’s expansion into Egypt.

Dubai Ports manages a number of projects in Ain Sokhna Port and other logistics areas,

As part of a joint effort to support trade between Asia, Africa, and Europe via Egyptian corridors.

The new area is expected to contribute to creating direct and indirect job opportunities,

To enhance Egypt’s exports and facilitate navigation and storage services, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Which aims to build a competitive economy based on knowledge and advanced services.
