Abu Dhabi, UAE – Amazon has announced the launch of its “Amazon Now” express delivery service in the United Arab Emirates. This service is the company’s fastest delivery service yet, with essential orders arriving in just 15 minutes.
The service covers a variety of products, including groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as electronics and personal care products. Amazon relies on small, strategic distribution centers in various regions to reduce delivery times and ensure faster and more efficient delivery.
The service is available 24/7 to all UAE customers. Prime members enjoy additional benefits, including free shipping on orders over $7. A small fee applies to orders under that amount. The company has also launched a two-hour delivery service for more than 30 product categories.
Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, said the new service has exceeded the company’s expectations, with daily orders growing by 40% month-on-month. He emphasized that Amazon Now enhances the value of shopping for customers through speed, savings, and exclusive benefits for Prime members.
