Hangzhou, China – A joint UAE-China delegation, including Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China; Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism; Cheng Qiuping, Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce; and Zhou Xiangjun, Director General of the Zhejiang Provincial Commerce Department, inaugurated the UAE pavilion at the 4th World Digital Trade Fair, hosted by Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The opening ceremony witnessed the screening of a documentary film about the UAE’s march.
He also highlighted her pioneering achievements in various fields.
He stressed that the state is moving confidently towards the future, driven by the vision of its wise leadership and the efforts of its people.
The film also reviewed aspects of the UAE’s past, rich heritage, developed present, and bright future.
Al Hammadi delivered a speech on this occasion, in which he stressed that the UAE’s participation in the exhibition is consistent with its strategic vision to enhance its position as a global center for trade and digital services.
In addition to its keenness to expand areas of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China and other countries.
He pointed out that this year’s UAE pavilion includes 10 exhibitors from leading national institutions, bodies and companies.
They provide the latest solutions and services in the fields of digital economy, e-commerce and innovative technologies.
He announced that the Emirati delegation participating in the exhibition’s activities includes about 80 participants representing various vital sectors.
This is a clear embodiment of the state’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships in the field of the digital economy.
The ambassador expressed his confidence that the UAE’s participation in the exhibition will contribute to opening new horizons for cooperation between the two friendly countries.

After the opening ceremony, the Emirati and Chinese delegations inspected the UAE pavilion platforms.
