Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways has announced a major new destination in the Middle East: the Syrian capital, Damascus.
As of June 2026.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, this new route reflects the growing demand from travelers in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for direct flights to Damascus.
