Ajman, United Arab Emirates – On Wednesday, the Ajman Tourism Development Department opened the activities of the fifth session of the Ajman Stamp and Currency Exhibition. 

This took place at the Bahi Hotel, Ajman Palace, in the presence of His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Department.

Along with an elite group of officials, interested parties, and collectors of stamps and coins from inside and outside the country. 

With the wide participation of exhibitors and collectors who come together to present one of the largest rare collections in the region. 

This exhibition comes within the framework of Ajman’s strategy aimed at consolidating its position on the cultural tourism map in the country. 

It is a prominent platform that combines culture, history and economics. 

He reviewed more than ten thousand rare pieces of postage stamps, coins and paper. The total value exceeded five million dirhams. 

Among them are historical publications used in the Emirates before the establishment of the Union. Others chronicle prominent events and milestones in the progress of the region and its countries. 

The accompanying program also includes specialized workshops, knowledge lectures, and a public auction of rare collectibles. 

In addition to distinguished competitions and honoring of the most prominent participating groups.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman, stated: “Organizing the fifth session of the Ajman Stamp and Currency Exhibition represents an advanced step in the emirate’s journey towards consolidating its position as a major destination for cultural and heritage exhibitions in the region”. This event is not limited to being an exhibition for stamp and coin collectors. Rather, it is a cultural bridge that connects generations and enhances awareness of our national history and rich heritage. It contains rare collectibles that tell the story of the Emirates and document its bright stations.” ” 

The exhibition attracts a wide range of visitors, tourists, media professionals and interested parties from all over the world. 

This year’s edition features the participation of specialized clubs and associations from Gulf, Arab and Asian countries. 

This reflects the department’s commitment to providing events that enrich the tourism experience. It opens new horizons for communication between cultures. 

The exhibition will welcome visitors from September 3 to 7, 2025, from 10 am to 10 pm, and on Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm. 

It offers them an unforgettable cultural experience and a unique opportunity to discover historical treasures. These treasures reflect the UAE’s identity and ancient heritage.
