Ajman, United Arab Emirates – On Wednesday, the Ajman Tourism Development Department opened the activities of the fifth session of the Ajman Stamp and Currency Exhibition.
This took place at the Bahi Hotel, Ajman Palace, in the presence of His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Department.
Along with an elite group of officials, interested parties, and collectors of stamps and coins from inside and outside the country.
With the wide participation of exhibitors and collectors who come together to present one of the largest rare collections in the region.
This exhibition comes within the framework of Ajman’s strategy aimed at consolidating its position on the cultural tourism map in the country.
It is a prominent platform that combines culture, history and economics.
He reviewed more than ten thousand rare pieces of postage stamps, coins and paper. The total value exceeded five million dirhams.
Among them are historical publications used in the Emirates before the establishment of the Union. Others chronicle prominent events and milestones in the progress of the region and its countries.
The accompanying program also includes specialized workshops, knowledge lectures, and a public auction of rare collectibles.
