Gaza, Hamas – Sources reported hearing violent explosions east of Gaza City.

This comes with the deployment of a number of Hamas members in the Gaza Strip since last Friday. This followed the entry into force of the ceasefire in the Palestinian Strip.

Media reported on Tuesday that the explosions were the result of clashes. These clashes erupted during Hamas raids against groups it described as “wanted and outlawed.”

He also added that Hamas targeted areas east of Gaza City, where it said “collaborators with Israel” were holed up.

Public Execution

Scenes of Hamas members carrying out public executions of Palestinians in Gaza have been circulating since Monday.

While a security source in the movement confirmed that “they dealt, according to the rules of clashes, with wanted persons who refused to surrender themselves.”

A security official from the Strip said that since the ceasefire last Friday, Hamas forces have killed 32 members of a “family gang in Gaza City.”

He also added that Hamas targeted areas east of Gaza City, where it said “collaborators with Israel” were holed up.

Six members of the movement were also killed in the clashes.

In addition, two other security sources in the Gaza Strip said that Hamas has gradually redeployed its men to the streets of Gaza since the ceasefire took effect.

She is careful in anticipation of his sudden collapse.

Yesterday, the movement also deployed members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, its military wing. Their goal was to free the remaining living Israeli prisoners it held two years ago in the October 7, 2023, attack.

Caretaker Role

These events came after US President Donald Trump hinted in statements he made while heading to the Middle East on Monday. He suggested that Hamas had received a green light to temporarily begin police duties in the Gaza Strip.

“They really want to stop the problems and they’re open about it, and we gave them approval for a while,” he said at the time.

Meanwhile, Ismail al-Thawabta, director of Hamas’s media office in Gaza, told Reuters that the movement “will not allow a security vacuum and will preserve the safety of people and property.”

It is noteworthy that Trump’s plan stipulated that the movement step down from power in Gaza. Additionally, it called for making the Strip demilitarized.

It will be managed by a Palestinian committee under international supervision.

The plan also called for the deployment of an international stabilization mission. Furthermore, it included the training and support of Palestinian forces to carry out security and police duties.
