Dubai, UAE – The Nasdaq Dubai Stock Exchange welcomed the listing of sukuk worth $500 million issued by the Arab Energy Fund, the multilateral financial institution specialized in investing in the energy sector in the Middle East and North Africa region, making this the fund’s third issuance on the stock exchange.
The Arab Energy Fund is included in the trust certificate issuance program, which includes trust certificates worth $500 million, with a profit rate of 4.721%.
The instruments are considered priority unsecured debt and were issued at nominal value, with maturity in 2036.
The Fund announced the completion of the first sukuk issuance in its history for a period of 10 years.
In a qualitative step, a new pricing curve with longer maturities was established, and the issuance witnessed strong demand from investors.
The value of subscription applications exceeded $1.6 billion, reflecting broad participation from regional and international investors.
