ABU DHABI, UAE – Mubadala Energy, the Abu Dhabi-based international energy company, announced a 30.9% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions across its operating assets in 2025. In conjunction with continuing to provide reliable energy and promoting responsible growth and its performance in environmental, social and governance standards.
The company’s 2025 Sustainability Report, titled “Energy for the Next Phase,” showed an average reduction in emissions intensity of 12.4%. In addition to reducing gas burning intensity by 33.9% across its operating asset portfolio.
Mubadala Energy has maintained its record free of oil spills and deaths since its establishment. Reflecting its policies in the areas of health, safety, security and environment.
In terms of human capital, the average training was 8.95 days per employee, and the company’s team included 38 nationalities. While the percentage of women among total employees increased to 32%, compared to 28% in 2024. Women’s representation in middle management also increased from 18% to 28%.
In the area of governance, the company continued to enhance transparency and accountability and align its practices with international sustainability reporting standards. It maintained a record free of data breaches for the seventh year in a row.
