Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Emirates Post issued a new set of commemorative stamps entitled “League of Arab States: Eighty Years of Joint Arab Action”.
This came as a documentation of the League’s progress since its founding in 1945. It is in appreciation of its role in consolidating cooperation between Arab countries and enhancing its presence.
This issuance comes in response to the recommendations of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. It is within the framework of regional celebrations on this occasion.
It was designed in coordination with the League’s General Secretariat. It reflects the spirit of Arab unity and its rich institutional legacy.
It also embodies the values of independence, integration and solidarity upon which the joint Arab action system was founded.
Inspired by the university’s visual identity, the design expresses eight decades of diplomacy, institutional work, and cultural and economic development.
It also highlights the university’s position as a platform for anticipating the future. Additionally, it preserves identity and promotes stability and prosperity in the Arab world.
The issuance represents an extension of Emirates Post’s approach to documenting prominent national and regional stations. It is also a confirmation of its commitment to supporting Arab cooperation initiatives in the postal sector and related integration. Furthermore, it serves to benefit communities.
