Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, 35 new judges in Dubai courts were sworn in. The ceremony took place at the “Host” Council at Etihad House in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his wishes for the new judges to succeed in performing their noble duties. These duties include establishing the balance of justice and separating people with truth. Therefore, adhering to the values of honor and integrity is essential. These values constitute the solid foundation of the judiciary. Importantly, they are also the essence of its mission.

His Highness stressed that an independent and impartial judiciary is the most important pillar of the stability and cohesion of societies. Furthermore, it is the first bulwark for protecting rights and preserving human dignity. He stressed the importance of the role played by judges in ensuring the rule of law. He also emphasized consolidating the principles of justice. Furthermore, he supported the development and construction process in the country.
His Highness explained that the judge, with his just judgment and fair word, not only rules between two opponents. Furthermore, he contributes to building a society that believes in justice. It trusts institutions and thrives under the umbrella of the law.

The new judges expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his valuable trust and generous directives. They affirmed that His Highness’s words are a source of pride and honor for them. Additionally, they serve as an incentive to exert maximum effort in performing their judicial duties with complete honesty, impartiality, and integrity.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai. Vice President of the Dubai Judicial Council, His Excellency Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts, was also present. Additionally, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary General of the Dubai Judicial Council, was present.
