Cairo, Egypt – The UAE snooker team won the silver medal in the team competition at the Arab Combined Billiards and Snooker Championship, currently being held in El Alamein, Egypt.
To raise the UAE’s tally to 3 medals, two in billiards and one in snooker.
The snooker team’s silver medal came after the team consisting of Mohammed Shehab, Khaled Al Kamali and Abdulrahman Al Shamsi qualified for the final match.
Before losing to the Qatari team 0-3, who won the gold medal.
It is noteworthy that the UAE billiards team won two bronze medals earlier.
One is in the 10-ball doubles competition, and the other is in the junior singles competition for the 9-ball category.
