ROME, Italy – UAE champion Rashid Al Mulla has achieved a new milestone for the Abu Dhabi Jet Ski Team, part of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
This came after he finished runner-up yesterday evening in the second round of the World Aquatics Championships held in the Italian city of Olbia.
To confirm the UAE’s superiority in one of the strongest world championships in this sport.
Al-Mulla came in second place after a strong competition in showmanship until the last meters with the Italian leader Roberto Mariani.
To add 87 points to his tally in the overall standings of the tournament, occupying second place in the world behind Mariani, who achieved 97 points.
Thus, Al Mulla keeps the Abu Dhabi team’s hopes strong in competing for the world champion title during the coming rounds.
The Abu Dhabi team gave a distinguished performance in the tournament, during which its star shone by highlighting high technical levels and great skill in exhibition movements.
This has strengthened the team’s presence as one of the most important competitors on the global jet ski scene.
