MOSCOW, Russia – An energy infrastructure facility in Ukraine’s Poltava region was damaged. This occurred as military escalation between Russia and Ukraine continued on Friday.
It is noteworthy that 4 explosions occurred in Poltava province last night.
Explosions also occurred in Dnipropetrovsk (southeastern Ukraine) and Odessa (southern Ukraine) provinces.
This comes as the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems destroyed, last night, 20 Ukrainian marches. These were in the airspace of the Republic of Crimea, the Voronezh, Belgorod and Kursk provinces, and over the waters of the Black Sea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Thursday that recent drone incursions into Europe show that Russia is seeking escalation.
He also called on Europeans to stand by Ukraine during an informal European summit in Copenhagen.
Zelensky considered that Moscow’s strategy is simply to divide Europe. He stressed that what is required is to do exactly the opposite.
