Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Jazira strengthened their hold on third place after securing a thrilling 4-3 victory over Dibba at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, in a captivating match that concluded the 22nd round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Al-Jazira raised its points tally to 40, maintaining its third position, while Dibba’s tally remained frozen at 17 points in last place.
Al Jazira started the match with early attacking pressure and almost opened the scoring in the second minute, but offside trap technology intervened, before Dibba surprised the home team with a first goal in the 18th minute through Carlos Vinicius.
Al Jazira did not wait long, as they responded quickly, just one minute later, with an equalizer goal through a header by Mohammed Rabie, taking advantage of the Dibba goalkeeper coming out of his goal.

In the second half, Al Jazira quickly widened the gap, after Vinicius Melo scored the third goal in the 50th minute, raising his tally to 10 goals in 40 matches in the ADNOC Pro League.
But Diba returned to the game with a goal to reduce the deficit in the 63rd minute through a powerful shot from Andreijo Araujo.
The excitement continued, as Melo returned to score a fourth goal in the 75th minute with a superb scissor kick, before Dibba reduced the deficit again with a third goal in the 88th minute scored by Medana Begna.
